Fastän att The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom blev en enorm succé för Nintendo så finns det inga DLC i sikte.
Man hade ju kanske hoppats och trott att utgivare med utvecklare vill rida på vågen när ett spel säljer väldigt bra, men med Nintendo är det alltid annorlunda och dom meddelar mer eller mindre att dom inte har några planer på att göra några DLC till The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Det är producenten själv Eiji Aonuma som i en intervju med Famitsu berättar att några såna planer finns inte:
”There are no plans to release additional content this time, but that’s because I feel like we’ve done everything we can to create fun in that world.”
Som vanligt när det gäller Eiji så är han kryptisk och fick bland annat frågan varför Breath of the Wild fick två DLC:
”In the first place, the reason I decided to make this a sequel to the previous work was because I thought there was value in experiencing a new game in that Hyrule place. If that’s the case, if a new reason arises, we might return to the same world again. Whether it’s a sequel or a new work, I think it’s going to be a completely new game, so I hope you’re looking forward to it.”
Så det är kanske inte helt uteslutet, men samtidigt så låter producenten själv inte särskilt pepp på att skapa några DLC till Tears of the Kingdom.
