Nintendo NX känner vi till och många frågar sig om det är en ersättare till Wii U, men nu har vi fått svaret.
Nintendos nya chef Tatsumi Kimishima har i en intervju pratat lite mer om Nintendo NX och vad för planer Nintendo har med den kommande konsolen.
Kimishima vill inte gå in specifikt på vad konsolen kommer att erbjuda men var noga med att säga att vi inte ska vänta oss en ”ersättare” till Wii U utan att NX kommer att bli en helt ny inriktning för företaget och ett nytänk.
Frågan är bara om Nintendo kommer gå in på spåret att konkurrera med Xbox och Playstation eller om man vill göra något ”annorlunda”.
”What I want to do, I think our first job right now is to make sure that the customers, those 10 million customers who have a Wii U at home have software to play.
We need to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchase and continue to enjoy playing on this platform.
We can’t just abandon them and say ‘Hey, it’s time to move on to the next thing.’ Of course we are working on NX and looking at the experiences we can bring to that platform. But first our job at this point is to support the consumers who have purchase Wii U and make sure that they have software experiences available to them.”
